If eel disappears, will it end??
Line up early if you want a seat. Wait is pretty long otherwise.Order all that you want first because certain items are first order only.Price is high but worth it in my opinion. If you're in Tokyo for only a few days I'd recommend this place. You can get cheaper decent quality eel elsewhere too but if you come here you won't have to wonder if you missed out on better eel.
MoreDefinitely tastes good. The egg dish was delicious and a must have if you choose to go. The Unagi Bento that people come for was also delicious. However, the number if eel bones in the Unagi was a little off putting and stopped me enjoying the meal as much as I could have. It has also increased in price - 5300 Yen for the Unajo. It was worth trying it once. But manage your expectations if you choose to line up and try the Unajo.
MoreItβs actually good taste Unagi but 7000 JPY is a little too over priced. The catering time is almost like 1.5 to 2 hours from your arrival until your Unagi get set and ready. There are tons of Unagi restaurants that serve similar quality dishes faster for more reasonable prices.
MoreAmazing unagi! Worth the wait and a must try. Went on a weekday for lunch and arrived an hour before it opened to be the first in line.
MoreThe Obama is good and traditional Japanese eel restaurant. It is Michelin award in Tokyo.Like the Shirayaki.
MoreThis was a really good eel restaurant. How to large eel rice and also egg eel omelette. The food is plenty and you've really feel full after eating a lot. Very quiet inside.
